As a marketing piece, I don't know. I for one can't quite tell what I'm looking at, but maybe I'm just dense. However, if this is just one of many photos in the brochure--photos that are less abstract--then I think it works just fine as a front cover photo. Follow me?
Anyway, good work.

Very, very like....

guess the cold feel was enhanced if there were more crisp shapes around. everything's pretty soft and fluid.(might also be the reason for the writing/border to not fit perfectly) ...and the white n blue interact in a pleasing way, like stars which also makes an comfortable impression instead of a cold one imo.

Its a good image, you need very diffused light really sofy, everything White in the cackground so no reflections or everything black.. but the light has to be really Soft... SOFTBOX etc.. I will drop my washing around later. 10+

If you don't have softbox at your disposal, you can emulate it by simple sheet of tracing paper and direct sunlight. Let the sunrays come through the paper - that will cast typpical clean rectangular shapes on your metallic objects. You can also add piece of polystyrene onto opposite side and use it as reflection board (it's white and not distracting like metallic mylar).
Ideal position is to have reflection board, your metallic object and softbox in one line. Also you shall add black chamois leather to the background to prevent unnecessary reflections.
